Project Description
The American Association of University Women has for many years given fellowships to outstanding female scholars from around the world, resulting in a robust alumni group. In addition, the AAUW had other ‘pieces’ of international engagement throughout the association. They contacted me to help them develop a more comprehensive international engagement strategy and implementation plan.
Over a multi-year period I helped guide the AAUW senior staff through the development of a global strategy and assisted in positioning future planning with a cross-departmental global matrix. A number of meetings with senior leaders from throughout the association helped to set the standard for sharing information around global efforts. One significant part of this strategy was better engaging AAUW fellows and exploring the creation of local chapters in a number of locations around the world.
This project included assistance with:
- Process facilitation
- Program development
- Global outreach strategies and planning
- Advising and counseling through key program junctures
